Ingredients

  • 4 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1/2- to 1/4-inch-thick wedges
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or more to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Diamond Crystal® Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Heat butter, olive oil, and garlic in a saucepan over low heat until butter is melted; stir in Diamond Crystal® Fine Sea Salt and pepper. Toss potatoes in butter mixture until evenly coated. Roast to desired doneness, 30 to 35 minutes.
We like our fries pretty crunchy and a little burnt looking, so we start checking them after 30 minutes. Sometimes they need a little more time.
